Miami, Florida (CNN) — A former Florida high school student who was suspended by her principal after she set up a Facebook page to criticize her teacher is protected constitutionally under the First Amendment, a federal magistrate ruled.

Five-dollar registration fee for persons planning to overthrow US government
Terrorists who want to overthrow the United States government must now register with South Carolina’s Secretary of State and declare their intentions — or face a $25,000 fine and up to 10 years in prison.

Well, we can still debate whether it’s fair or balanced, but Fox News is the network America trusts more than any other, according to a new poll by Public Policy Polling.
Almost half of all Americans surveyed in the poll of 1,151 registered voters said they trusted Fox News. Stop airing crap.
I don’t care if someone fell asleep at the wheel and crashed their car. People get into accidents all the time. Why is this one any different?
Every time I turn on the TV it’s always some news about a SUPPOSED shooting or SUPPOSED attack of some kind. This is my face when I watch -_-
Either air something really interesting or don’t air it at all. I don’t mind watching Reruns of The Simpsons. :D

The French government just announced it will spend $2.2 billion on a network of electric car charging stations:
The government will make the installation of charging sockets obligatory in office parking lots by 2015, and new apartment blocks with parking lots will have to include charging stations starting in 2012.

Jon Stewart: Our Most Trusted Newsman
Well, it’s official: with Walter Cronkite gone, Jon Stewart is America’s “most trusted newscaster.” At least that’s the result of this TIME poll that pits him against the anchors of the nightly news shows for CBS, ABC, and NBC.
As an online poll with a small sample size that probably got hacked anyway, it’s not particularly trustworthy itself. But still, what does this say about the state of journalism in America? Do we actually have a dearth of trustworthy newscasters? Or are people just confusing “most trusted” with “funniest”? (via good.is)
