Whenever I play Pokemon, I always buy the Magikarp from the salesman outside Mt. Moon because I want to have a Gyarados early in the game. A Gyarados is very very handy because it has a very high HP and can learn shit moves like: Thunderbolt, Earthquake, Ice Beam, and Surf.
