USELESS (or “Use less, give more”) has launched recently a line of products that helps people use less of the planet’s natural resources. For instance, the USELESS tote bag is hand crafted in Colorado out of recycled ad billboards and so every one is unique. It is also incredibly strong and can carry the weight of an averaged sized adult without breaking.

Recycled Bowling Lane Coffee Table
“An abandoned bowling alley finds a second life in this beautiful series of furniture by LA-based designer/woodworker William Stranger. Crafted from reclaimed strips of wood salvaged from a local defunct Tava Lanes Bowling alley, the collection springs to life in a variety of forms including a series of wall hangings and a low coffee table.”

All you have to do is bend a license plate over the edge of a table. Easy.

Cardboard Paintings | Gavin Worth
It’s a nice way to recycle those unwanted torn up cardboard boxes.

Each BigBelly is a bin and compactor in one. By compacting trash on the street, the 32-gallon BigBelly can hold 150 to 200 gallons of trash. The BigBellys are powered by solar panels—they’re entirely off the grid—and send text messages to the city when they’re full, so collection trips are only made when they need to be, instead of requiring a daily drive.
